  • 10 guajillo chiles, seedless, soaked
  • 1/2 cups onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 tablespoon oregano
  • 1/4 cups chicken broth
  • 500 grams masa dough
  • oil
  • queso fresco, crumbled
  • stem of spring onion
  • lettuce
  • Sidral Mundet® Apple flavor

  • Blend the guajillo chiles, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, oregano, and chicken broth until you obtain a sauce. Strain, sauté in a pot with lard, and cook for 5 minutes or until it boils.
  • Form slightly thick tortillas with the corn dough and fry in oil for 3 minutes on each side or until well cooked.
  • Dip the tortillas in the sauce and place them on a plate. Then sprinkle with cheese, onion stalk, and lettuce. Repeat the process until you have 3 layers of tortilla and 3 layers of cheese, onion stalk, and lettuce.
  • Serve the Sonoran enchiladas and accompany with Sidral Mundet® Apple flavor.
