Onion Tart

  • 1 1/2 cups cheese, grated 1 1/2 cups cheese, grated

  • 100 grams pork belly, smoked, sliced

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • In a skillet, brown the bacon (do not add oil, as its own fat will serve the purpose).
  • In a skillet, add the oil and then the onions. Season with salt and pepper and let them cook until tender.
  • In a bowl, mix the eggs, cheese, and cream.
  • Once the onions are ready, let them cool, then add them to the previous mixture.
  • Pour the mixture of onions with the eggs, cheese, and cream into the pie or tart base.
  • Add the bacon to the mixture, and cheese.
  • Put the tart in the oven and cook until the edges of the crust look golden and pull away from the dish.
