  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 cups raw sugar
  • 4 cups flour
  • 1 envelope yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons McCormick® Lemon Mayonnaise
  • sesame seeds
  • 2 beefs for milanesa , breaded and fried
  • 2 slices pork leg, fried
  • egg, with chorizo
  • sausages, fried
  • yellow cheese
  • quesillo
  • McCormick® Lemon Mayonnaise
  • tomato , in slices
  • onion, sliced
  • chipotle chile in adobo sauce
  • avocado

  • Heat the water, add the piloncillo, and cook for 15 minutes or until the liquid is reduced to half and has a thick, syrup-like texture. Remove from heat, let cool, and set aside.
  • Mix the flour, yeast, salt, McCormick® Lime Mayonnaise, and a cup of the already cooled piloncillo syrup. Beat with the paddle attachment for 15 minutes, or until the dough is smooth, uniform, and elastic.
  • Grease a container, place the dough, and let it rest for an hour or until it doubles in size.
  • Remove a third of the dough, shape the canillas and place them on the bread. Glaze with egg, sprinkle with sesame seeds, and bake at 180 °C for 35 minutes.
  • Cut the pan de muerto in half and spread McCormick® Lime Mayonnaise. Add breaded beef steak, pork leg, egg with chorizo, sausage, yellow cheese, and shredded cheese.
  • Add tomato, onion, avocado, and chipotle chili. Finally, place the top of the bread.
  • Brown the sandwich in a pan for a few minutes to melt the cheese.
