Beef Chow Mein in Sweet and Sour Sauce

Noodles accompanied by sautéed vegetables with marinated beef in a sweet and sour sauce made with Hunt's BBQ. A true delight to share with everyone at home.

  • 1 package spaghetti pasta, cooked
  • 2 carrots, cut into strips
  • 1 pumpkin, cut into strips
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 600 grams beef tenderloin, cut into strips
  • 150 milliliters soy sauce
  • 2 oranges
  • 1 ginger, small
  • 50 grams honey
  • 1 serrano chile
  • 250 milliliters Hunt´S ® original bbq sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • salt
  • 10 grams toasted sesame seeds

  • For the marinade: Mix the orange juice, soy sauce, honey, Hunt's ® Original BBQ Sauce, serrano chili, and sesame seeds.
  • Add the beef to the previous mixture and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  • In a wok or saucepan, add sesame oil, let the oil heat up a bit, sauté the carrot, zucchini, and onion. Once ready, remove from heat and set aside.
  • Remove the steak from the marinade (do not discard the marinade). In the same hot wok, add the beef steak, once browned, add the previously sautéed vegetables and the noodles along with the marinade so that the flavors can blend. Mix.
  • Let it rest for 2 minutes and then serve.
