Easy Ground Beef and Cheese Lasagna

  • To assemble the lasagna, place a layer of pasta, a layer of béchamel sauce, a layer of meat, and a layer of cheese, repeating the steps until the mold is filled, finishing with a layer of cheese and bake for 20 minutes. Cut and serve.
  • For the meat, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and add the onion, garlic, celery, carrot, tomato, and ground beef; add the red wine, tomato puree, thyme, oregano, bay leaf, and season with salt and pepper; let cook for 20 minutes until the liquid evaporates. Set aside.
  • For the béchamel, in a pot over medium heat, melt the butter and add the flour, browning for a few minutes, then add the milk; season with white pepper, salt, and nutmeg. Cook for 5 minutes until it thickens and set aside.
  • For the pasta, heat water in a pot until boiling, add enough salt, and cook the pasta sheets for 5 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  • To assemble the lasagna, place a layer of pasta, a layer of béchamel sauce, a layer of meat, and a layer of cheese, repeating the steps until the mold is filled, finishing with a layer of cheese and bake at 180 °C for 20 minutes. Cut and serve.
