Spaghetti with Cream

This recipe is also known as spaghetti alla carbonara. The present recipe is an easy-to-prepare and very economical variant, ideal for emergency moments when we want to improvise in the kitchen. A delicious dish that kids love.

  • 100 grams spaghetti pasta
  • 1 cup clotted cream
  • 3 eggs
  • 100 grams bacon
  • 1 teaspoon oil
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch pepper
  • 1 pinch cumin
  • 1 pinch oregano

  • In a pot, boil two cups of water. When boiling, add the spaghetti broken in half, oil, and salt to taste. Drain when ready.
  • In a bowl, mix the cream, eggs, salt, pepper, cumin, and oregano. (The last two to taste) Let the mixture rest until the noodles boil.
  • Cut the bacon into small pieces.
  • Add the bacon to the previous mixture and let it cook well and the flavors combine. Remove from heat and set aside.
  • Incorporate the spaghetti. Mix well with the bacon and add the resting mixture. Stir constantly for one minute, and it is ready to be served.
