Vegan Hamburger

Delicious hamburger rich in protein and iron. Alternative recipe to enjoy this characteristic dish of American cuisine with the Mexican touch of beans.

  • 3 cups beans, cooked
  • 5 grams fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 onions
  • 1 cup oats, in flour
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 pinch pepper
  • 1/4 tablespoons ground cumin
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 4 tablespoons coconut oil

  • Chop the onion and garlic into cubes. Fry in a pan until the onion looks transparent.
  • Chop the cilantro finely.
  • In a food processor, place the beans, cilantro, and the other ingredients except for the oil and flour.
  • Once the mixture is ready, gradually add the oat flour and mix until a dough that doesn't stick to your hands is obtained.
  • Shape the hamburger with your hands to the desired size.
  • In a pan with hot oil, fry the hamburgers on both sides until browned.
  • Serve on a hamburger bun accompanied by lettuce, tomato, avocado, ketchup, and mustard.
