Banana Peel or Banana Mojito

This is a Venezuelan recipe that can be made at any time to share with family; it is a delicious, economical, and easy dish to prepare. It is served with arepas, bread, and garlic sauce.

  • 2 ripe banana peel
  • 100 grams ají
  • 100 grams onion
  • 100 grams pimentón
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • 1/2 cups fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 cups chives
  • 2 tomatillos
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cups vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cups water
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 4 tablespoons parsley, for decoration

  • Chop the banana peel into small cubes, place it in a pan, and sauté with soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce over low heat.
  • Add the cilantro, onion, 3 cloves of garlic, the two tomatoes, and the bell pepper, all chopped into small pieces.
  • Sauté over low heat.
  • Add half a cup of water over high heat and let it dry.
  • Add the 2 eggs, mix slowly, and cook for a few more minutes.
