Delicious Vegan Hot Dog

You never imagined a healthier option than this. Tasty vegan hot dog with a healthy and delicious marinated carrot in a balanced combination of ingredients such as: soy sauce, sesame oil, apple cider vinegar, maple syrup, accompanied by a very tropical guacamole.

  • 1/4 cups Low sodium soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 8 carrots
  • 1 avocado
  • 1/4 cups onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cups pineapple, roasted and diced
  • 1 mango, diced
  • 2 Habanero chiles, finely chopped, roasted, and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons lime juice
  • salt and pepper
  • 8 hot dog buns
  • radish, for garnish
  • French fries, for accompaniment

  • For the marinade, in a bowl mix the sesame oil with soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, maple syrup, paprika, garlic, and onion powder.
  • Place the carrots in a baking dish, pour the previous preparation over them, and marinate for 30 minutes.
  • For the guacamole, mash the avocado and add the onion, cilantro, pineapple, mango, habanero chili, and lime juice, season with salt and pepper. Set aside.
  • Grill the bread over low heat in a grill pan until golden brown and set aside.
  • Grill the carrots and cook for 12 minutes on each side, until cooked.
  • Place the carrot in the bread, add the guacamole, chips, radish, and enjoy with a refreshing drink.
