Herdez Vegetarian Burger

Getting kids to eat lentils has never been so easy, nutritious, quick, and delicious. It’s a very simple and economical preparation. I always make vegetarian burgers for my kids and they love them.

  • 1 can soup, Lentils Herdez®
  • 1 bunch celery 1 bunch celery
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg 1 egg
  •  parsley  , chopped to taste parsley , chopped to taste
  •  onions, chopped to taste onions, chopped to taste
  • 1 cup oil  1 cup oil
  • burger buns, to taste
  •  salt  , to taste salt , to taste
  •  pepper, to taste pepper, to taste

  • Chop onion, parsley, and celery into small cubes to taste.
  • In a plate, mix the chopped ingredients with the Herdez® lentil soup.
  • Form small balls from the previous mixture.
  • Beat 1 egg with salt and pepper.
  • Dip the balls in egg.
  • Coat them with breadcrumbs and lightly flatten with a fork.
  • Heat a pot with a drizzle of oil.
  • Fry for 1 minute on each side.
  • Drain on paper towels.
  • Serve hot with the hamburger bun.
