Easy Chicken Gyro

  • 1 cup FAGE® Greek Yogurt, for the marinade
  • 1 lemon, juice only, for the marinade
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar, for the marinade
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, finely chopped, for the marinade
  • 1 teaspoon paprika, for the marinade
  • 1 teaspoon cumin, for the marinade
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder, for the marinade
  • 1 tablespoon oregano, for the marinade
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil, for the marinade
  • 2 chicken breasts, in strips
  • salt
  • pepper
  • tomato, in small cubes
  • cucumber, in small cubes
  • red onion, in thin strips
  • pita bread, to accompany
  • sweet potato potatoes, to accompany
Preparation

  • In a bowl, combine Fage® Greek Yogurt, yellow lemon juice, red wine vinegar, chopped garlic, paprika, cumin, cinnamon, fresh oregano, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Add the chicken breasts to the mixture and let marinate for 1 hour.
  • Cook the chicken on a grill over medium heat for 10 minutes on each side. Set aside.
  • Assemble the gyro with pita bread, add some dressing, the chicken, cucumber, tomato, and red onion. Serve with sweet potato fries.
