  • 2 cups chicken, cooked and shredded
  • 3 cups poblano pepper strips
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, finely chopped
  • 3/4 cups onion, finely chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups sour cream
  • corn tortillas, sautéed in oil
  • 1 cup corn kernel
  • 1 1/2 cups monterey cheese
  • vegetable oil
  • salt and pepper

  • Blend the poblano pepper strips, cream, salt, and pepper until you obtain a thick and creamy sauce.
  • Sauté the garlic and onion in a pan and add the chicken and corn kernels. Pour the poblano cream and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Place the tortilla in a previously greased mold, the chicken stew, and then cover with a layer of cheese. Repeat the process until the mold is filled and finish with a layer of cheese.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C. Bake the Aztec cake for 10 to 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
