This Chicken Cordon Bleu lasagna will be the perfect excuse to treat yourself, as it is prepared in a very simple way and is ideal for gatherings with friends. Its perfect layers of lasagna, breaded chicken, ham, and cheese will delight you.
1 tablespoon basil, dry, for the breadcrumb mixture
1 tablespoon garlic powder, for the breadcrumb mixture
1 teaspoon salt, for the breadcrumb mixture
1 teaspoon pepper, for the breadcrumb mixture
8 chicken breasts, clean, thick, 150 grams each

1 cup flour, for breading
3 tablespoons vegetable oil, to brown the chicken breasts
3 cups Alfredo pasta sauce
500 grams lasagna sheets, precooked
250 grams deli ham, in slices
250 grams Manchego cheese, in slices
1 cup Mozzarella cheese, grated
fresh basil leaf, for garnish

For the breading: Mix the breadcrumbs with basil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl until combined.
Bread it! Season the chicken breasts on both sides and then coat them in flour until covered, then dip in beaten Huevo San Juan® pieces and finally, cover with the breadcrumb mixture. Once all the chicken breasts are breaded, brown them in a skillet with hot vegetable oil over medium-low heat to avoid burning the breading. Drain and set aside until use.
Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
Assemble the lasagna: Place a base of Alfredo pasta sauce in a baking dish, then arrange the precooked lasagna sheets and place the breaded chicken breasts, cover with slices of ham and Manchego cheese, then cover again with the Alfredo pasta sauce and repeat until the dish is full. Finally, top the Chicken Cordon Bleu lasagna with grated mozzarella cheese. Bake at 180 °C for 20 minutes.
Cut the Chicken Cordon Bleu lasagna, serve hot, and decorate with fresh basil leaves.
