Easy gnocchi

  • 1 kilo potato, cooked and peeled
  • 1/2 cups Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 500 grams flour
  • salt
  • tomato sauce

  • In a bowl, mash the potatoes until smooth. Add the Parmesan cheese and the egg, and mix until well combined.
  • Incorporate the flour gradually and mix until integrated, obtaining a well-combined dough. Let it rest for 15 minutes.
  • Divide the dough, roll it into a strip, and cut it into small portions. Use a fork to give the gnocchi its traditional shape.
  • Cook the gnocchi in a pot of boiling water with salt. Once they start to float, you'll know they are ready.
  • Drizzle with tomato sauce and garnish with Parmesan cheese.
