Green Pasta with Pesto

Green pasta with pesto is a very traditional recipe of Italian cuisine. It is a simple preparation to cook, where with few elements you achieve a delicious dish.

  • 350 grams fusilli pasta
  • 350 grams penne pasta
  • 1/4 cups olive oil
  • 1 1/2 cups pesto, in sauce
  • 280 grams spinach
  • 3 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 1/4 cups mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cups Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
  • 1 1/2 cups peas
  • 1/3 cups pine nuts
  • 3/4 teaspoons salt
  • 3/4 teaspoons ground black pepper

  • Cook the fusilli and penne separately in a large pot with boiling water and salt.
  • Drain the noodles and place them in a bowl with olive oil. Cool to room temperature. Place the pesto, spinach, and lemon juice in a blender. Add the mayonnaise to the mixture.
  • Then, pour the pesto mixture over the pasta while it cools and add the Parmesan cheese, peas, pine nuts, salt, and pepper.
