Cook this original recipe for very easy and quick potato gnocchis, served in a ragù sauce with bacon and sausage with Del Fuerte® tomato sauce, flavored with fresh thyme. This delicious preparation is served with Parmesan cheese and fresh basil.
1/2 kilos potato, cooked, mashed like puree, for gnocchi
1/4 kilos wheat flour, for gnocchi
1 egg, for gnocchi
1 pinch salt, for gnocchi
3 cups water, for cooking gnocchi
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 tablespoons butter, for the sauce
1/2 onions, finely chopped, for the sauce
2 tablespoons garlic, finely chopped, for the sauce
1/4 cups carrot, finely chopped, for the sauce
1/4 cups celery, finely chopped, for the sauce
1/4 cups bacon, finely chopped, for the sauce
1 cup sausages, cut into cubes, for the sauce
2 Del Fuerte® seasoned tomato sauce, for the sauce
1/2 cups vegetable broth, for the sauce
2 sprigs thyme, for the sauce
1 pinch salt, for the sauce

In a bowl, mix the mashed potatoes with the flour, egg, and salt, knead until you get a smooth dough, let the dough rest covered with non-stick plastic until it dries.
On a clean table, sprinkle flour and roll out the dough to form thin strips; cut the strip into 3 cm pieces with a knife and press with a fork to shape the gnocchis.
Heat the water in a pot until it reaches a boil, immerse the gnocchis and cook until they float. Remove from the water and set aside.
Heat a medium skillet with the oil and butter and cook the onion until it is transparent. Add the garlic, carrots, and celery. Add the bacon and sausages and cook for a few minutes. Add the Del Fuerte® Seasoned Tomato Puree, the broth, and thyme.
Cook until the sauce thickens and season.
Serve the gnocchis with the sauce, add Parmesan cheese and fresh basil, enjoy.
