Bow Tie Pasta in Two Cheese Sauce

  • 1 package bowtie pasta, La Moderna
  • 190 grams cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 200 milliliters cream
  • 225 grams Manchego cheese, grated
  • 200 grams chicken, cooked and shredded
  • 200 grams tomato sauce
  • 250 grams white mushroom, sliced
  • salt , and pepper to taste
  • fresh cilantro, for garnish

  • Preheat the oven to 180° C.
  • Pre-cook La Moderna bow tie pasta for approximately 5 minutes, making sure it is not overcooked to avoid breaking apart when baking.
  • Cream the cream cheese with a mixer, incorporate the cream and half of the grated Manchego cheese; season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • In a baking dish, put a bit of tomato sauce at the bottom, place a layer of sliced mushrooms, followed by a layer of the cream sauce, then a layer of La Moderna bow tie pasta, then another layer of tomato sauce, followed by a layer with the chicken, another layer of pasta, another layer of cream, until finishing with a layer of pasta and topping with the remaining grated Manchego cheese.
  • Cover with aluminum foil and bake in the oven for 30 minutes. Check that the mushrooms are cooked. Let cool and serve, garnish with a sprig of cilantro.
