Macaroni with Meat

Because there is nothing like homemade food, we prepare this recipe for Macaroni with Meat made with the perfect complement to give it that delicious touch. This easy recipe includes gratin Manchego cheese, which will give it a unique texture. Remember that when cooking pasta, you should never let it overcook, as it will have a second cooking in the oven.

  • 250 jars elbow pasta
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, finely chopped
  • 200 grams ground meat, lean beef
  • 200 grams ground meat, lean pork
  • 1 carrot, finely chopped
  • 2 stems celery, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Knorr® beef bouillon
  • 1 liter water
  • 16 tablespoons Knorr® tomato bouillon
  • 1 sprig oregano, fresh
  • 1 sprig basil, fresh
  • 4 tablespoons Manchego cheese, grated
  • basil, fresh, for garnish

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • In a pot of boiling water, cook the macaroni according to the package instructions, being careful not to overcook it. Drain and set aside.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the onion and garlic with a little olive oil. Add the meats and cook until they change color. Incorporate the carrot, celery, and Knorr® beef broth, cooking for about 10 minutes on low heat and set aside.
  • In a pot of boiling water, dissolve the contents of Knorr® Mi Tomate and cook for two minutes. Season with oregano and basil, then remove from heat.
  • In an oven-safe dish, pour in the pasta and the meat. Pour over the sauce and sprinkle with Manchego cheese.
  • Bake until the cheese is gratin and serve with basil.
