Pasta and Vegetable Bake

Pasta, vegetables, and béchamel sauce, with a golden touch of cheese and breadcrumbs on top.

  • 400 grams pasta
  • 1 leek
  • 200 grams cream
  • 300 milliliters bechamel
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 onion
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 2 slices cheese
  • 200 grams button mushrooms
  • 100 grams mayonnaise

  • Boil the pasta until al dente, drain it, and set aside.
  • While the pasta is cooking, sauté the chopped vegetables (the size is up to you, depending on whether you like to find chunks of vegetables in the bake or prefer them to be less noticeable). Once everything is well sautéed and soft, add the pasta and a couple of slices of cheese, then add the béchamel and let it boil for a couple of minutes.
  • Transfer everything to a baking dish, cover with breadcrumbs and grated cheese, and bake in the oven for 5 minutes to gratin. Serve hot.
