Devil's Macaroni

  • 4 tomatoes, seedless, diced
  • 3 slices bacon, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons basil, chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 can button mushrooms, sliced (medium)
  • 2 árbol chiles, chopped

  • Cook the pasta al dente. In a skillet, heat the oil, add the bacon, and cook for 3 minutes, set aside. In the same skillet, sauté the garlic, add the drained mushrooms.
  • In the skillet, add the bell pepper, tomato, basil, salt, and pepper; cook for 10 minutes. Add the bacon, mushrooms, and garlic. Season for 3 more minutes.
  • Serve the pasta on a platter and drizzle with the sauce, sprinkle the tree chili. Serve immediately.
