  • 1 package Pasta La Moderna Penne Rigate®
  • water
  • 2 cups beef , in fajitas
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 cup bell pepper , in strips
  • 1 cup onion, sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cups beef broth
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/2 cups parsley , finely chopped

  • Bring water to a boil in a pot, add salt, and add La Moderna Penne Rigate® Pasta for 9 minutes or until al dente.
  • Season the meat with salt and pepper. Heat the oil in a large pan and sauté the meat in strips for 8 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  • Add the onion, garlic, and bell pepper in the same pan and sauté until the ingredients are soft and slightly caramelized.
  • Add the meat to the pan and pour in the BBQ sauce and beef broth. Mix well and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes or until the sauce thickens.
  • Add the cooked pasta to the meat and sauce mixture. Cook for 3 minutes to integrate the flavors.
  • Place the pasta with BBQ meat in a baking dish and garnish with chopped parsley.
