Pasta with Broccoli

  • 2 cups short pasta
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 handful Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups broccoli, steamed

  • Heat water in a pot over high heat. When it is boiling, add the pasta, salt, and olive oil. Stir continuously to prevent it from sticking to the bottom of the pot.
  • When the pasta is cooked (it should be soft, has absorbed water, and the water level has decreased in the pot), strain the water using a colander and return the pasta to the pot.
  • Add the broccoli, salt, and pepper.
  • Add Parmesan cheese at the time of serving.
