Pasta with Chorizo Sauce

Pasta is a very versatile food and when paired with sauces, it offers a very different presentation and flavor; enjoy this one with chorizo sauce.

  • penne pasta
  • 1/2 onions, diced
  • 3 tomatillos, diced
  • salt , to taste
  • 1 chorizo, turkey or pork
  • olive oil , as needed
  • cherry tomatoes , for garnish

  • Cook the pasta in salted water.
  • While the pasta is cooking, add oil and onions to a pan to soften.
  • Add the chorizo to fry along with the softened onion.
  • Add the diced tomato to the chorizo with onion, lower the heat, and let it cook for a short time while draining the pasta.
  • Drain the pasta after approximately 15 minutes of cooking, place it on a plate, add olive oil to taste, and the chorizo sauce.
