Potato Gnocchis

A fantastic recipe for making potato gnocchis at home. Delicious and sure to please everyone.

  • 2 kilos potato
  • 500 grams flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 grams nutmeg
  • 2 grams salt

  • Peel the potatoes, cut them, and boil them. When they are ready, while still hot, make the puree, ensuring there are no large pieces.
  • Place the puree and make a little hole in the center, add the 2 eggs, oil, nutmeg, and a little salt. Mix everything together.
  • Knead with 350 gr of flour, it should be quite soft. If it is too soft, add a little more flour.
  • Make strips and cut the gnocchis, adding flour to prevent them from sticking.
  • Put a pot with water and salt on the heat to cook them; once it boils, add the gnocchis to the water and remove them when they rise to the surface.
