8 ounces fettuccine pasta, or linguini
1 pound shrimp, cleaned without tails
1 tablespoon butter, or margarine
1 teaspoon garlic, mashed
1 teaspoon basil
1/2 teaspoons salt , or to taste
2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons bacon, previously golden and cut into very thin strips

Cook the pasta.
In a frying pan, sauté the butter with the garlic until golden.
Add salt to the shrimp, stir them well and add them to the pan. Sauté for 4 minutes until they brighten in color.
Add the basil, bacon, and cheese. Stir well. Add the pasta.
Serve them on a serving platter.
