Quick Microwave Pasta

Quick and delicious pasta for those nights when cravings hit or there's no time to cook a big meal. The microwave will be your best ally this time.

  • 50 grams pasta , (of your preference)
  • 1 teaspoon Parmesan cheese, shredded or powdered
  • 1 teaspoon unsalted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoons garlic pieces Mccormick®
  • 1 pinch salt
  • deli ham, bacon or vegetables of your choice

  • Place the pasta in a microwave-safe container, add water to completely cover it, and add a pinch of salt.
  • Microwave for 5 minutes, until the water boils (place a plate underneath the container in case the water overflows).
  • Check the pasta to ensure it is al dente. (If it is still too hard, reheat for another 1 or 2 minutes).
  • Drain the pasta and rinse it with plenty of cold water, letting it drain.
  • Put the cooked pasta in a clean, dry container along with the butter, cheese, onion powder, and garlic powder. Mix well and microwave for 35 seconds.
  • Remove from the microwave and add the ham, bacon, or vegetables of your choice.
