Venezuelan Cheese Empanadas

It is very tasty, easy to make, and very practical for lunch; prepare these cheese empanadas for your kids for school lunch.

  • In a deep skillet, heat the oil.
  • In a plastic or glass bowl, add the warm water, then the oil, and finally the salt.
  • Combine the bread flour in the bowl and mix until the mixture is well combined. Make sure the dough is neither too soft nor too hard.
  • Then take the dough and make a ball, then place the ball of dough in a long and wide plastic bag. After that, fold the bag in half and flatten it with a skillet.
  • Once the dough is well flattened, add the cheese and fold it. Then press gently to avoid breaking.
  • Then fry until golden brown.
