We present to you a recipe for apple and nut salad that is perfect for the holiday season. It is a delicious side dish for your main courses, a tasty fruit salad, with a creamy dressing and caramelized nuts.
Cut the apple into cubes and mix it with the celery, grapes, and cranberry in a bowl or baking dish.
Add the Oikos® yogurt with shredded coconut and mix thoroughly. Reserve in the refrigerator.
In a skillet, add the sugar and heat it over medium heat until the sugar melts.
When the sugar turns a copper color, add the nuts all at once and stir to coat the nuts with the caramel, remove from the skillet and pour onto a cutting board to cool, chop with a knife. Add the nuts to the salad. Serve.
