Quick Salad for the Modern Mom with Tongue Pasta

This is a recipe for modern moms who have little time to cook something tasty and practical; 15 to 20 minutes is enough to pamper the family.

  • 1 bag La Moderna® pasta, tongue
  • 11/2 bags frozen vegetable
  • 1/2 liters table cream
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • salt
  • pepper
  • garlic, in powder
  • water

  • Boil a liter of water with a heaping tablespoon of salt, when it boils add a bag of La Moderna® Tongue.
  • Wait until it's tender or al dente and drain.
  • I recommend saving water by using the same cooking water to defrost the frozen vegetables for the garnish.
  • Sauté the already defrosted vegetables with a tablespoon of butter, and season with salt, pepper, and a little garlic powder.
  • Stir with the La Moderna® Tongue after draining.
  • Pour in half a cream (half a container) and stir.
  • Serve at room temperature or chilled (refrigerate for 20 minutes), it's an excellent lunch option for the little ones.
  • Enjoy the delicious flavor.
