This salad is my aunt Pilar Bailey's recipe; it contains short pasta, tuna, onions, and celery. It is excellent as a main dish or as a side due to the variety of ingredients it contains. It can be stored in the refrigerator for several days.
Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente; drain it and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking. Place it in a deep bowl to make it easier to mix the remaining ingredients.
Finely chop the onion and the previously washed celery.
Drain the tuna, shred it well, and set it aside.
Mix the tuna, onion, and celery with the pasta. Finally, add the mayonnaise. Mix well until everything is integrated.
Adjust the salt and add more if necessary.
