Warm Endive Salad

A delicious warm endive salad accompanied by almonds and white wine. This salad is perfect for a romantic dinner.

  • 4 heads endive
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cups white wine
  • 1/4 cups almonds
  • 8 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, grated

  • Heat the olive oil in a pan and sauté the chopped garlic until golden.
  • Add the heads of endives, pour in the balsamic vinegar and white wine, and allow it to come to a boil. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Cover the pan and cook for 5 minutes, flip the endives and cook for 1 more minute. Remove from the pan.
  • Let the sauce simmer for a few minutes until it thickens and use it as the dressing for your salad.
