It is a very simple recipe, easy to prepare and delicious to accompany the holiday plate, paired with a good portion of turkey. Make it, you will love it!
Remove the cabbage leaves, wash them, and then cut them into thin strips. The bacon should also be cut into small rectangles (make short pieces).
Fry the bacon without oil, just in the hot pan, as the bacon releases fat; we prepare all this over low heat.
When the bacon fat starts to render, add the cabbage and begin to mix.
When the bacon and cabbage are mixed, add honey or the 4 tablespoons of ground panela (whichever you prefer). Begin to mix, and when the cabbage is soft (cooked), it means it's ready!!
Serve, as it is preferable to eat it hot.
