Black Bean Dip

This black bean dip is perfect for all kinds of snacks, as it pairs perfectly with other ingredients from Mexican cuisine.

  • 425 grams black beans, drained
  • 100 grams cream cheese
  • 1/2 cups sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons bell pepper , chopped
  • 200 grams cheese, crumbled
  • 1/3 cups chives, finely chopped

  • Preheat the oven to 170°C (340°F).
  • Mash the beans in a large bowl. Add the cream cheese, sour cream, and peppers; mix well.
  • Reserve 1/2 cup of the cheese mixture and refrigerate it for later use. Incorporate the rest of the cheese into the bean mixture. Spread the mixture into a lightly greased casserole dish.
  • Bake for 20 minutes and sprinkle with the 1/2 cup of cheese you reserved. Bake for 5 more minutes or until the cheese melts.
  • Add some chopped green onions for decoration.
