Mash the beans in a large bowl. Add the cream cheese, sour cream, and peppers; mix well.
Reserve 1/2 cup of the cheese mixture and refrigerate it for later use. Incorporate the rest of the cheese into the bean mixture. Spread the mixture into a lightly greased casserole dish.
Bake for 20 minutes and sprinkle with the 1/2 cup of cheese you reserved. Bake for 5 more minutes or until the cheese melts.
Add some chopped green onions for decoration.
