Delicious Cascabel Chili Sauce

Spicy sauce that goes well with any Mexican snack. It is used especially to season the broth known as chilpachole.

  • 8 cascabel chiles
  • 2 tomatoes, gourds
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/4 onions
  • 1 pinch ground cumin
  • 1 pinch oregano
  • salt

  • Boil the peppers without the stem or seeds for five minutes.
  • Roast the tomatoes, onion and garlic on the comal.
  • Grind the roasted ingredients, chiles, cumin, oregano and salt, to taste.
  • Serve hot or on time.
