Homemade Dijon Mayonnaise

Mayonnaise is widely used in the ketogenic diet; however, it contains many carbohydrates that one must watch in this style of eating. I found this recipe, and I thought it was quite good. I'm sharing it with you!

  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 240 milliliters olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • salt
  • pepper

  • Place the egg yolk and Dijon mustard in a bowl, whisk until fully combined.
  • Once combined, slowly add the olive oil.
  • Once fully integrated, add the lemon juice.
  • Finally, season with salt and pepper to taste.
