Homemade Dijon Mayonnaise

Mayonnaise is widely used in the ketogenic diet; however, it contains many carbohydrates that one must watch in this style of eating. I found this recipe, and I thought it was quite good. I'm sharing it with you!

1 egg yolk
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
240 milliliters olive oil
1 teaspoon lime juice
salt
pepper

Place the egg yolk and Dijon mustard in a bowl, whisk until fully combined.
Once combined, slowly add the olive oil.
Once fully integrated, add the lemon juice.
Finally, season with salt and pepper to taste.
Refrigerate before serving.
