Homemade Pineapple Jam

A delicious homemade pineapple jam that you will love; unlike commercial jam, you can control the amount of sugar you add or the texture you prefer. Enjoy your toasted bread with this tasty fruit jam.

  • 1/2 pineapples
  • 2 cups pineapple juice
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 limes

  • Remove the skin from the pineapple and cut it into cubes.
  • In a pot, add the fruit and pineapple juice. Cook for 60 minutes. Be careful not to let the jam run out of liquid, as it may stick; if necessary, add more pineapple juice or water.
  • After one hour has passed, add the sugar. At this step, continuously stir the mixture. Cook for 30 minutes or until the mixture reaches the desired texture.
  • Once the mixture has cooled, add the juice of two lemons. Blend until you achieve the desired consistency.
