2 tablespoons butter
1 cup onion, finely chopped
2 tablespoons garlic, finely chopped
1 cup white wine
1 cup chicken broth
2 cups prunes, seedless
salt
pepper

Heat the butter in a pot and cook the onion and garlic for 5 minutes.
Add the white wine, chicken broth, and prunes to the pot. Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes or until the prunes are hydrated. Set aside.
Blend everything for 5 minutes, until you have a very smooth sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
Serve the plum sauce in a sauceboat and accompany it with pork loin.
