Guajillo Chili Sauce

A delicious sauce that adds a lot of flavor and is not necessarily spicy; it all depends on whether you remove the seeds from the guajillo chiles. It’s a sauce that pairs perfectly with many dishes, whether meat, chicken, or vegetables. Prepare it and complement everything you cook.

  • 10 dried guajillo chiles
  • 5 cloves garlic 5 cloves garlic

  • Soak the chiles in hot water for 5 minutes. Drain the water, dry, and slice.
  • Peel and finely chop the garlic.
  • Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a pan and sauté the garlic. Add the chili and cook over medium heat until well browned.
  • In a food processor or blender, add the remaining olive oil and season with salt. Blend the sauce.
