How to make pico de gallo

Try this delicious pico de gallo, as it is a basic salsa in Mexican cuisine, thanks to its rich flavor, and it is easy and quick to prepare. Additionally, this recipe is perfect to accompany molletes, quesadillas, tacos, or even to eat it alone with tortilla chips.

  • 1/2 onions
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 2 serrano chiles
  • 1 lime
  • 1/4 cups cilantro, finely chopped

  • Finely chop the onion and set aside.
  • Cut the tomato, first removing the seeds, and then cut into small cubes.
  • Dice the serrano pepper into small cubes, removing the seeds and veins.
  • Mix the onion, tomato, serrano pepper, pour in the lime juice, cilantro, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Set aside.
  • Serve the pico de gallo over molletes and enjoy.
