Mexican Sauce in the Molcajete.

Delicious recipe for spicy sauce prepared in a traditional molcajete. It is perfect for accompanying almost any dish.

  • 3 tomatillos
  • 5 Jalapeño chiles
  • 1/3 onions
  • fresh cilantro
  • 1 lime
  • salt
  • 1 clove garlic

  • Wash and disinfect the ingredients.
  • In a pot, bring half a liter of water to a boil and cook the tomatoes, onion, garlic, and cilantro over medium heat.
  • Toast the chiles on a grill or comal.
  • Once they are ready, let them cool and then remove the skin.
  • Place all the ingredients in a molcajete and mash until everything is broken down.
  • Finally, add lime and salt to taste.
