Asparagus and Gruyere Cheese Tart

This delicious asparagus tart with Gruyere cheese is prepared in just 45 minutes. The flavors of Gruyere cheese with asparagus and puff pastry go perfectly together!

  • 750 grams asparagus
  • 250 grams puff pastry
  • 2 cups Gruyère cheese, grated
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pinch pepper

  • Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
  • Roll out the puff pastry and form a rectangle of 40x25 cm.
  • Place the rectangular and flat puff pastry on a greased baking sheet.
  • With a knife, mark a rectangle inside the rectangle, outlining the space where the cheese and asparagus will be filled.
  • Bake in the oven for 15 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and sprinkle with grated cheese.
  • Place the asparagus on top (with the tips previously cut), alternating one with the tip on one side and the other towards the opposite side.
  • Brush the asparagus with olive oil and generously sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • Bake until the asparagus is tender, about 20-25 minutes.
