Baked Breaded Okra

Okra is a very rich and healthy vegetable also known as Turkish pepper and gumbo. This baked breaded okra recipe is very tasty and healthy because it is not fried.

  • 500 grams okra
  • 1 1/2 cups cornstarch , (cornstarch)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cups light milk
  • 1 egg
  • spray oil

  • Preheat the oven to 210 degrees Celsius.
  • Mix the cornstarch, salt, and pepper in a deep bowl.
  • In another bowl, mix the egg and milk and beat.
  • Add the okra to the egg and milk mixture and let it marinate for 3-5 minutes.
  • Now place the okra in the cornstarch mixture and coat it. Then place it on a baking sheet previously greased with cooking spray.
  • Bake for 40 minutes and serve.
