Baked Gratin Rice

This yellow rice recipe will be perfect for all your gatherings or for a family meal, as it is full of flavor thanks to GOYA® Yellow Rice, which is already seasoned and easy to cook. This recipe has a delicious combination of cheeses, ham, and vegetables.

  • 2 cups water, for the rice
  • 1 box Goya® yellow rice, 198 g
  • 1 tablespoon butter, for the rice
  • 1 cup cream cheese, for the sauce
  • 1/2 cups whipping cream, for the sauce
  • 1/2 cups milk, for the sauce
  • 1 egg, for the sauce
  • 1/2 cups Mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 1/2 cups turkey breast, in thick slices and cut into small cubes
  • 1/2 cups carrot, in small cubes
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 tablespoon parsley, finely chopped
  • butter, for greasing
  • Parmesan cheese, grated

  • In a pot, heat water; once it boils, add the GOYA® yellow rice and butter, cooking for 1 minute. Cover and keep cooking on low heat for 15 minutes or until the rice loses enough liquid. Set aside.
  • Blend the cream cheese, whipping cream, milk, and egg for 3 minutes until fully combined.
  • In a bowl, mix the cooked GOYA® yellow rice with mozzarella cheese, turkey breast, carrot, salt, and pepper. Add the dairy mixture and parsley, and combine the ingredients.
  • Grease a rectangular baking dish with butter, pour in the rice mixture, and sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Bake for 15 minutes at 200 °C.
  • Serve on a plate. Accompany with salad and your favorite drink.
