Baked Pineapple

With this recipe, you can prepare a delicious baked pineapple that you can use as a side dish, filling, dessert, or even to accompany a rich vanilla ice cream.

  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons orange juice, fresh
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons honey
  • 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon powder
  • 1/2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 2 cups pineapple, fresh, chopped into pieces

  • Preheat an electric skillet to maximum temperature, or a conventional oven to 200°C.
  • Combine the sugar with the orange juice, honey, ground cinnamon, and ginger. Stir very well.
  • Add the pineapple to the previous mixture until it is completely covered.
  • Place the pineapple on a non-stick baking tray and put it in the skillet for 5 minutes or until you notice some bubbles. Stir if necessary.
