With this recipe, you can prepare a delicious baked pineapple that you can use as a side dish, filling, dessert, or even to accompany a rich vanilla ice cream.

3 tablespoons brown sugar
3 tablespoons orange juice, fresh
1 1/2 teaspoons honey
1/2 teaspoons cinnamon powder
1/2 teaspoons ground ginger
2 cups pineapple, fresh, chopped into pieces

Preheat an electric skillet to maximum temperature, or a conventional oven to 200°C.
Combine the sugar with the orange juice, honey, ground cinnamon, and ginger. Stir very well.
Add the pineapple to the previous mixture until it is completely covered.
Place the pineapple on a non-stick baking tray and put it in the skillet for 5 minutes or until you notice some bubbles. Stir if necessary.
