Soak the beans in 1 liter of warm water the day before; this will help make cooking faster. If not soaked, they will take a little longer to cook.
To cook them in a pressure cooker or clay pot, add the oil and heat slightly to fry the onion with the garlic until they turn a light golden color.
Remove the soaking water from the beans, add them to the pot along with 6 cups of water and the Knorr® Suiza Chicken Broth, cover.
When the pressure starts to release, reduce the heat and place the valve. In a traditional pot, cover and stir occasionally; if you need to add water, use warm or hot (2 cups).
Cook for 50 minutes in a pressure cooker or approximately 1:50 hours in a traditional pot.
Add the sprigs of epazote and cook for 10 more minutes on low heat, uncovered.
You can use the delicious Knorr® beans in your favorite recipes.
