Butter Peas

When you don't know what to prepare as a side dish and want to eat vegetables, make these butter peas and add color to your plate.

  • 2 cups peas
  • 1/2 cups water
  • 1/4 teaspoons garlic
  • 1/4 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1/2 sticks butter
  • chicken consommé

  • Place the peas in a pot with water to boil. When they are ready, remove them and put them in a bowl with water and ice (this will help maintain the color). Drain.
  • Put the peas in a skillet with butter, garlic, onion, and broth.
