Chestnut Stuffing

A filling option for the Christmas turkey, this chestnut stuffing recipe will delight everyone!

  • 6 cups baguette, in cubes, from the day before and browned in the oven
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 4 sprigs celery, finely chopped
  • 3 tablespoons sage, fresh and finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons thyme, fresh and finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon rosemary, finely chopped
  • 1 stick unsalted butter
  • 1 kilo chestnut, peeled and chopped (2 cups)
  • 1/2 cups parsley , chopped

  • In the butter, sauté the onion and celery. Add the herbs, let the vegetables become tender
  • Add the chestnuts and cook for 3 minutes. Stir with the bread and parsley
  • Season with salt and pepper
