Cranberry Sauce

This sweet cranberry sauce is a great accompaniment for Christmas turkey. It is made 2 days in advance to allow the flavors to develop.

  • 1 orange, large
  • 1 green apple, large
  • 3 cups cranberries
  • 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 slices fresh ginger, finely grated

  • Peel the orange and cut into quarters, remove the seeds. Cut into pieces again.
  • Core the apple (without peeling) and cut into pieces.
  • In a food processor, blend the pieces of orange, apple, cranberries, sugar, and ginger.
  • Process until everything is finely chopped. Keep refrigerated for 2 days before using.
