Gratin Spinach Roll

Delicious spinach, mushroom, onion, and butter rolls. Try this recipe and become a fan like I am; the gratin spinach roll is delicious.

  • 8 puff pastry
  • 8 slices Mozzarella cheese
  • leaves spinach
  • 1/2 cups button mushroom, sliced to your liking
  • 1/4 cups onion, chopped
  • 1/2 sticks unsalted butter
  • 16 teaspoons Parmesan cheese
  • 8 tablespoons olive oil

  • Preheat the oven. Place the butter in a pan and when it has melted, add the spinach. Sauté until wilted.
  • Add the onion and mushrooms. Stir and sauté as well, until the onion is wilted.
  • On each piece of puff pastry, place a slice of mozzarella cheese. Then, add the sautéed spinach. Sprinkle a teaspoon of parmesan cheese.
  • Roll up the dough. Place parchment paper on a baking sheet and place the rolls on the paper. Drizzle each one with a tablespoon of olive oil and 1 teaspoon of parmesan cheese (or to taste).
  • Bake until the dough is done (approximately 20 minutes).
