Gratinated Spinach

Very simple recipe to prepare spinach, also very healthy.

  • 2 cups spinach
  • 100 milliliters tomato purée
  • 1 pinch chicken broth
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste
  • 200 grams cheese

  • Rinse the spinach a bit; place the bunch of spinach (only the leafy part) in a pot with boiling water for about 10 minutes.
  • Remove the bunch of spinach from the water and chop the leafy part, avoiding the part of the bunch that did not cook.
  • For the sauce: mix the tomato puree well with a pinch of powdered broth and add salt and pepper to taste.
  • In a glass baking dish, place the spinach and generously spread the sauce over them; place a layer of cheese for quesadillas on top (as much as you desire).
  • Microwave for about 40 seconds, or until the cheese is golden.
